One of his passions in his work is working with the client toward a full service solution. His experience and philosophy formed over the years reads "Stay yourself, be honest, do what you say and say what you do.

Marco is account manager, or first point of contact for clients. He works with clients on projects, including making proposals for supporting promotional products.
"The most enjoyable part of my job is the customer contact and developing a product that positively surprises the customer."
He has been doing this work for 13 years, benefiting from experience in hospitality and customer service gained in the hospitality industry, where he was previously employed.

He went through secondary and higher hotel school as a prerequisite. "If I wasn't doing this work, I would be working in the hospitality industry as a host/sommelier or maybe even running his own restaurant," he said.

Mark Ideler

Mark works at BeGlobal as a senior account manager. In this role, he visits BeGlobal customers, as well as targeting new customers. "My goal is to provide every customer with the right product media. Within my position, I have support from the inside sales department through making proposals and purchasing, here I direct them where necessary." What he likes best about his position is the variety in customers and work. "No project is the same and a different solution can be devised for every customer." Mark has worked at BeGlobal for almost 5 years, of which about 4 years have been in an account management role. What in particular has he learned in previous work circles that he now uses in his work at BeGlobal? "My main learning is to always be open and honest, a deal is a deal."

When the client lets us know that we did our job well and that they got the intended effect from it, that really gives you a kick. Then you remember what you and your team are all about.
do!"

Roald has been doing this job for two years. He loves picking and working out the orders. "Taking care of things behind the scenes suits me," he says.
"In this work environment, more than before, I can focus on my job. This allows me to focus my attention more on the progress of the orders I put into the system, the expectation of our customers and communication with suppliers. I find that very pleasant, and obviously benefits the customer."

Roald trained as a pharmacy assistant MBO level 4, and if he were not doing this work, he would want to work in a hospital pharmacy, where you are very focused on people's well-being. Having contact with people, listening well to them, knowing what they want and supporting them, that's in his fibers.

Michelle Westmaas

Sales support

Michelle is a commercial employee, and from that position she keeps in touch with customers and is active in the field of order processing, two aspects of her work that she therefore enjoys doing. She has been doing this work for over 2 years, supported by her previous work experiences where she learned the importance of good handover and taking responsibility over an order or quote.

Her prior training included aviation services. But if she did not work at BeGlobal, she would run her own lunchroom.

He graduated from the Graphic Lyceum in 1993, and has been working at BeGlobal since 2018. His learnings: "Doing what you enjoy in a fun and professional team benefits the quality and quantity of your work."

Cocky Schalk-Langendoen

Consultant and Project Manager

Since the merger of Intercédé and BeGlobal, Cocky has held the position of sales manager at BeGlobal. "From this position, I am responsible for the customers brought in by Intercédé and I coach the sales team. The experience I have gained, both inside and outside the industry, I want to share with the team in order to contribute to making it an even stronger team."
What does she like most about her job? "Actually, I like everything. And if I have to name something: working with colleagues on creative concepts for our clients. It's always great to see how you can surprise your clients with this."

In 1993, Cocky and a colleague started Intercédé for themselves. They soon achieved great results with airlines and received large orders for the 75th anniversary of KLM, which immediately laid the foundation for further expansion. That expansion began with the partnership with Red Band Venco, which gave Intercédé the rights to use Droste and King brand products as promotional products for their clients by customizing them to give them the look and feel of the customer. Then they also expanded the range to include product media and corporate gifts. After a few years, her colleague found the company too big and stepped out. Together with her husband Hans, Cocky continued the business. Later, the timing turned out to be unfortunate: it was just before nine eleven, the aviation customers were having a hard time, and that also affected Intercédé.

Learning by doing applies to Cocky. For decades she has worked with buyers and marketers of large companies on the one hand and suppliers on the other. This has given her a large dose of experience and she knows the ins and outs of product media, from which her colleagues and certainly also customers benefit.

Cocky went to Schoevers after her high school education. Later, she was asked to teach at Schoevers. "Teaching I did in the evenings in addition to my work at a law firm. After I got a commercial management position at Lips Fire Cabinets, I quit that."

What would she want to do if she were not working in the promotional products industry? If so, she would want to work in law or education, something that is reflected in what she has done before.
